Sen. Eric Schmitt issued a stark warning this week. He said the chaos in France shows what Democrats want for America. The unrest there includes riots, fires, and looting. Schmitt told Fox News Digital that Democratic Socialists of America members want this here. He called the Democrat Party post-American and anti-Western.

Schmitt pointed to a bright spot in Missouri. He credited the Trump administration for new manufacturing jobs. Boeing will build next-generation fighter jets in St. Louis. This includes the Air Force F-47 and Navy F/A-XX. These programs will create 7,000 direct jobs. More jobs will come for suppliers nearby. Schmitt said St. Louis is becoming the defense tech capital. He described these as generational opportunities for workers.

Public safety also improved under this cooperation. Operation Show Me Justice targeted crime in St. Louis. The ATF led this enforcement surge. Authorities made 435 arrests during the operation. They seized 166 firearms from suspects. Police also took 81 kilograms of drugs. They recovered over $1.25 million in cash. Officials announced the operation ended on Oct. 15. Schmitt said this helps families feel safe again. He noted grandparents no longer clean broken glass. Parents do not need to bury children. He promised more resources are coming soon.

Schmitt argued Republicans must show these results to voters. He said the House majority is up for grabs. Democrats have obstructed efforts on immigration and regulations. He warned they might defund Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This could revive political weaponization of government. Schmitt said voters need to see tangible results. He pointed to the jet contracts and crime drops. These are real achievements, not just rhetoric.

He also pushed for airport modernization in St. Louis. His Modern Skies Act would fund air traffic control tech. It aims to upgrade towers and terminals. Midsize airports struggle to secure investments. Larger hubs get funding more easily. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said funding is competitive. Schmitt said St. Louis deserves a world-class airport. He called it the gateway to the West.

The senator framed the election as common sense versus crazy. He said Republicans cannot assume support will show up. Voters must be told the important story. Schmitt believes this approach will save the Senate. He thinks the House battle is wide open. He urged his party to fight for every vote. The contrast with French unrest serves as a warning. Americans see the cost of failed policies elsewhere. Schmitt offered a different path forward for Missouri. He highlighted specific wins in jobs and safety. These facts form the core of his argument. Voters can weigh the evidence themselves. The choice lies between order and chaos.
